Nominations for 2022-2023 Board Positions

The GCPOA Nominating Committee will be meeting soon to determine a slate of proposed Directors and Officers for the 2022-2023 term. If you are interested in serving and would like your name added to the ballot, or know of a good candidate whom you know is willing to serve, please send nominations to nominations@GlendowerCourt.org by October 4. The Annual Meeting and Elections will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, 10/26/22 at the Women’s Institute, 2202 Avalon Pl. (77019).

The Nominating Committee members are Lynn Baird and Charlie Parker. We have a five person Board of Directors. There are five Board of Director positions to be filled, in addition to the Vice-President and President-Elect position. There will be two elections. First, The members will elect one person to be both a Director and to fill the Officer position of Vice-President and President-Elect. Immediately after, the members will vote on the remaining 4 Director positions. The open officer positions for 2022-2023 will be Vice President/President Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer. The office of President 2022-2023 will be filled by Steven Carter who was elected Vice-President and President-Elect at the 2021 Annual Meeting. Charlie Parker will remain on the Board as a non-voting member in the capacity of President-Emeritus. The newly elected Board will meet briefly immediately following the adjournment of the Annual Meeting to elect the remaining new officers from the newly elected Board members.
